From Frank Clynes, Sept 6, 2016
I'm on Susan Shiffer's left, the girl in white. She was the Washington bureau chief and I was her D.C. photographer. The fellow next to me was the New Bedford bureau photographer, but later became a House of Corrections prison guard. The fellow to the left of the him was our shuttle driver. Next to him is the production director of the 6 PM news show. He joined the New Bedford police department soon after. The girl at the bottom was the front receptionist. The second row included a Taunton fireman who came by the station to drop off some film. The forth man on the top row was delivering Newport racing film that day. Both were asked to stand in, to make the news team appear larger than it actually was. The three on the bottom were sports reporters, with the weather girl behind. Only eight of the remaining people actually worked in the newsroom, and so far have managed to elude capture. |
