From Bob Neary, March 16, 2010 Alison was doing the Noon news with Dick Bolduc when I first started at WTEV. She was originally from California, and I think some of the news staff thought she was just warming up outside LA for her eventual return.
From Jon Foley, July 11, 2010 Alison is quite well-known in the television and film industries, as both a writer and a producer. She's won at least two Emmys that I know of (I'm talking about national Emmys, not the local awards); I remember watching the broadcast as she walked down the aisle to pick up her award (and I thought, a WTEV survivor makes good!) . She was also the writer of the movie Blood and Wine, starring Jack Nicholson. Here's a link to Alison Cross' page on IMDB, the Internet Movie Database.
From Bob Neary, March 16, 2010 One day, pretty early on in my tenure at WTEV, I walked into the newsroom about half-hour before the Noon News show to block out the program. Apparently, Dick and Alison were in the middle of a tiff. As best I could figure: Dick was insisting that $150k was a lot of money to pay for a house. Alison insisted that it was not. It went back and forth a number of times and neither would budge from their position. This battle lingered off and on for several weeks.
