Joe Doyle was a stringer/reporter from Cape Cod.
From Bob Neary, Feb 16, 2010 Every so often Joe Doyle would show up with a bunch of film and it usually wasn't 'hard' news but it was a nice regional touch.
From Betty Ann Holmes, Oct 7, 2011 Joe Doyle is living in Presque Isle, Maine with his second wife Patricia. They visit the local coffee shop each day when the snow isn't too deep and at Christmas delight in gifting to each other the latest gadget for removing snow and ice from their hillside property. His first wife Betty Ann Holmes created Sawdust Pudding Photography and is responsible for using the quote attributed to Benjamin Franklin, "He who subsists on sawdust pudding and water needs not the patronage of anyone."
