Submitted by Dave Layman Former WLNE Channel 6 Evening News Anchor and News Director After Bob retired from WTEV, he was hired by WLNE Channel 6 to do a twice-a-week segment called the "Senior Life Report." Bob told me that the two years he spent as our Senior Life Reporter were the most satisfying of his long broadcasting career. Bob's reporting career at age 67 was cut short by a fatal heart attack. Bob was one of the most beloved characters ever to walk the halls at Channel 6. | |
